## music
- Nils Frahm - Says: Perfect for deep work and studying. Puts you into hyperfocus quite easily.
- Universal Ambients - Samarkand 1869: Great for reading and sitting in the sun on a warm summer afternoon.
- Windows96 - Plume Valley: Vaporwave at its finest. Captures the essence of late spring / early summer.
- World of Warcraft - Talador: One of my favorite tracks from the World of Warcraft soundtrack.
## books
- Ayn Rand - Atlas Shrugged: A great story about the consequences of government intervention and heroism in production.
- H.P. Lovecraft - The Nameless City: One of my favorite Lovecraft stories. A story about a lost civilization with an eerie atmosphere.
- Friedrich Nietzsche - Thus Spoke Zarathustra: Poetic to read, a great philosophical work.
- Hermann Hesse - Steppenwolf: Hesse shows the struggle of dualism and why it's sometimes better to not try to separate the two but to embrace them.
- Ayn Rand - The Fountainhead: Another great story about individualism. Causes a great desire to put your ideas into action.
- Marcus Aurelius - Meditations: Stoic wisdoms from the philosopher emperor. Some of them got me out of a rut during the pandemic.
- Seneca - Letters from a Stoic: Each letter is short to read and offers a great view into stoicism.
## movies and series
- Severance: Great thriller about the horrors of transhumanism. Theorycrafting the plot is a lot of fun.
- Interstellar: A classic masterpiece and my favorite movie of all time.
- Invincible: Dark superhero series. Brutal to watch and perfect if you're sick of the MCU.
- The Big Short: A great movie based on a true story. It's a must-watch for anyone interested in the financial crisis.
